Over the last few weeks, there have been over 100 Jewish School bomb threats. The FBI have been recently investigating whether civil rights have been violated. The majority of the threats were in New Jersey and New York. Trump announced he is aware of these but does not have a plan prevent them. EMS student Paul Yoon commented about the incident “It is dangerous and uncalled for”. Other EMS student Callum Stewart Wood responded to the situation with “This should not happen, it’s not okay”. 50 Jewish students have withdrawn from school a total of 12 families have pulled out of school. More recent were in a children’s museum in Brooklyn. The museum was founded by Devorah Halberstam after her 16-year-old son, Ari was fatally shot on the Brooklyn Bridge on March 1, 1994. All threats have been anonymous and they have been surrounded by other violence in the area.
